Jan 31, 2017 - Closed - Won't Fix windows 10.0visual studio 2017 rc. For different reasons (See VS 2017 RTM Ignores Project Dependencies = Build Fails). Dear all, i changed to the latest Visual Studio 2017 but in fact, there is no possibility to develop for the Windows phone 7 and 8. I need this, because it is much easier to develop with the windows Phone templates (panorama app, etc.) for fast building.
Environment: Vs 2017 RTM, Windows 10, TFS 2015, over VPN Watchguard Mobile VPN While VS 2015 will connect to TFS almost instantly, VS 2017 hangs forever at 'Connecting.' First of all we disabled anonymous authentication on TFS web site, but still get 'Connecting.' In Team Explorer then after a lot of time an error appears 'TF400324: Team Foundation services are not available from server 192.168.103.236 DefaultCollection.
Technical information (for administrator): The underlying connection was closed: An unexpected error occurred on a receive.' In our case we can connect (with fiddler) to TFS only by IP address. Reset data in Internet Explorer / Delete Domain auth in Credential Manager in Control Panel / run devenv.exe /ResetSettings does not help. If we start Fiddler at first then VS connected successfully sometimes. It's very strange!!!
