I haven't got a Nemesis but bought a 455 DB head recently and am very, very happy with it. I had not used or even seen an SMT club before buying it.

After playing a few rounds, I played with a member of a local club who told me on their S.I. Hanns g monitor driver for mac. 1 hole that he'd never seen a drive hit so far on that hole (and I birdied it - had never even par'd it before). More to the point is that you can choose what shaft you want as opposed to being stuck with the manufacturer's own or, if you're lucky, having one or two third party shafts to choose from. Matched properly, this will make more difference to the performance of a driver than which particular head you choose to stick it into.My previous driver was a Ping G2, which I like a lot but it's under the bed gathering dust now.
Where should we start with this one? The Spectrum came to the golfing world in 2003 and hit the ground running literally. Although it is the smallest clubhead in the SMT line, the technology in this little power plant is remarkable. Thirteen months on the drawing board, we came out with the first ever three sided wrap around soleplate which actually gives the Spectrum the most efficient energy transfer of all SMT clubheads, while both raising and deepening the center of gravity of the head giving the player a remarkable combination of feel and distance. Certainly you don't have to take our word for it, glance back at the picture to see just a few of the accolades this clubhead has brought to the history of the golf, starting with the longest driver on any PGA Tour since 2003 with a season ending driving distance average of well over 339 yards! Also, the PGA Tour Driving Distance Leader position was secured at the 2004 Shell Houston Open with a blast of over 429 yards which beat John Daly's old record by over 40 yards. The Spectrum was in the bag of Rex Caldwell as he marched to victory in the Champions Tour as well as grabbing a Top Ten spot on the Nationwide Tour.
Seven weeks of being the Nationwide Tour's Driving Distance Leader rounded out some of the Tour highlights for a clubhead that players were never paid to play, and is not a big name OEM model! We set driving distance records in Australia and won more long drive championships than any other clubhead or brand in the history of the sport down under, with 12 Australian Long Drive Titles! We stuck around, and grabbed the Pacific Islands Long Drive Title as well, along with the trophy in New Zealand. But golf is not all about tour professionals and big hitters, so we put the Spectrum up against every OEM product in the industry and came away with 'Best Value' two years in a row, 'Best Distance' two years in a row and the toughest of all accolades to win 'Best of the Best' when compared to the hottest clubheads that the game had to offer, from a leading national golf magazine!
